A 2-day special session (SpS5) of the IAU General Assembly in Prague, in
August 2006, will be held on August 21 and 22 on IAU support for Astronomy
Education and Research in the developing world.
The meeting title is "Astronomy for the Developing World". The subtitle
is "New Initiatives for promoting astronomy education and research in
developing countries".
You are warmly invited to participate. There will be invited speakers,
contributed oral sessions and posters. If you wish to participate, to

proceedings
Order
your print or electronic copy of the Proceedings of SpS5 published
by Cambridge University Press at a special pre-conference price before
August 25, 2006. All authors are strongly encouraged to order the
proceedings prior to this date.
